Today we are joined by two of my dearest friends Stan and Jay. Our paths crossed several years ago while volunteering and working together at the same church. This conversation takes several turns, but the main discussion surrounds the breathtaking story of Stan's late wife, Nancy. Her impact on the world of organ transplantation is nothing short of extraordinary, and her legacy continues to live on more than fifteen years later.
We find ourselves sitting on a picnic table fighting some pretty intense winds along the way—the remains of an extreme thunderstorm leading up to our conversation. Luckily we made it out unscathed!
Beyond Nancy and Stan's story, though, we discuss our thoughts on the evolution of communication technology from the perspective of three different generations; we talk more tech and then some; we talk filmmaking and the path to completion of our short film A Soul Filled Life that tells the story of Nancy—and why even COVID didn't keep us from finishing what we started.
As always, thanks for joining us! If you'd like to reach out to us, you can email us at contact@hindlightmedia.com.
